United Nations, New York, 4 November 2010 - The United Nations, its humanitarian partners and the Government of Benin announced today a joint call for help 47 million U.S. dollars to almost 800,000 people in the West African country that is just the worst floods in a century to . help More than 680,000 people in 55 of the 77 municipalities of the country have been affected by the flooding, with more than 105,000 people lost their homes.
